The organization is working for empowerment of the marginalized and deprived at grass root level. We have made a place in the minds and hearts of people with our work. The perspective of the organization has changed from service delivery mechanism to empowerment of people. In the context of our work, experiences and challenges that we face, we feel the need for having a quarterly magazine as the mouth piece of the organization to disseminate our “Perspective” on urban poor and to play the role of “Advocacy” effectively.

"Perspective- Drashtikon" is our quarterly magazine in Gujarati that provides insights into our engagements at the grassroots with the urban poor. The magazine aims at providing news and views on the happenings that affect the lives of the urban poor. It gives expressions to the strength, problems, questions and experiences of people at grassroots and provides perspective to bring changes in the society. Experiences from the grassroots that have built our perspective provide the basis for the magazine and so the magazine, instead of being merely an academic output, actually contributes to bring changes to the society, .

The first issue of the magazine was released on March 11, 2009 on the birth anniversary of Fr. Erviti, the founder of the organization. The subsequent issues have focused on giving the organization’s perspective on important matters related to urban poor. They include articles from experts, people working in respective fields and also from staff.
