Networking provides strength to the work of any organization. Understanding the need and importance of networking, the organization has networked with various NGOs, Government organizations and other stakeholders.
SXSSS is a member of several networks in which it is active. It is constantly trying to increase its involvement in more and more networks as it is aware that increased numerical strength and solidarity for the cause of up-liftment of the poor can be achieved through network strength.
SXSSS is accredited to the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED); the UN Inter Governmental Negotiating Committee for a Convention to Combat Desertification (INCD) and the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) besides being invited to accreditation to all UN conferences in which Non Governmental organizations have a place. It is also a Council Member of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and a member of the Global Health and Environment Library Network (GELNET) of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Besides, SXSSS works on several issues in close collaboration with the Government at the National and State levels and locally with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
