The Anubhai Chimanlal Nagarikta Puraskar
In 1995, the organization was named the first recipient of the Anubhai Chimanlal Nagarikta Puraskar for its sustained contribution to the city of Ahmedabad.
Human Rights Award
In December 2004, Jamat-e-Islam-e-Hind presented the Human Rights Award to St. Xavier's Social Service Society for its unflinching services towards the cause of Communal Unity and Human Rights in the year 2002.
Health Work Award
The Government of Gujarat Health and Family Welfare Department, Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, honored the organization for its contribution in health care, especially for the de-addiction campaign and awareness programs. The state Minister of Health present on the occasion delivered the certificate of honor to the organization at a public function held at Civil Hospital on the 31 of May 2007, World Anti Tobacco day.
Communal Harmony Award
On January 19, 2008 one of our Balmitras Mrs. Niruben Marwadi was awarded with the Communal Harmony Award by the NRI Coalition for demonstrating courage and bravery during and after the Gujarat Carnage 2002. It was a great moment for her and her family. With all odds, she managed to save the Muslim families in her area during communal riots of 2002.
